Bunaco was built around a simple idea: great coffee begins with knowing exactly where it comes from. By working directly with one farmer and one 26-hectare farm, we maintain a clear connection between the farm, the coffee and the buyers we serve.

Bunaco works directly with one farmer cultivating a single 26-hectare coffee farm in Oromia, Ethiopia. This focused sourcing model gives us clear visibility over the origin and journey of our coffee.

Working directly with one farm allows us to maintain close oversight of cultivation, harvesting, processing and preparation while keeping the origin of each coffee clearly traceable.

From Farm to European Supply

From our farm in Oromia to European buyers, we maintain a focused and traceable coffee journey from cultivation and harvest through processing, drying and export.

Sourcing

We source directly from one farmer and one 26-hectare farm in Oromia, Ethiopia, giving every Bunaco coffee a clearly defined origin and direct connection to the producer.

Harvest

Coffee cherries are carefully harvested at the appropriate stage of ripeness and prepared with attention to preserving the quality and character of each lot.

Coffee is carefully dried, monitored and prepared to achieve stable moisture levels and preserve the quality, consistency and character of each lot.

Drying & Perfection

Export

Once prepared and documented, our coffee is carefully packed and exported from Ethiopia, maintaining traceability and quality throughout its journey to professional buyers across the EU and Scandinavia.
